Soft Skills

Attendees of the Soft Skills Workshop experience short breakout sessions focused on the soft skills needed to be successful in a job, including developing interview skills, learning how to interact with co-workers, phone etiquette, and developing self-advocacy skills.

This event is a fun-filled day of learning about job readiness skills and the programs designed to help students get a job in their community.

Representatives from the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Long-Term Care, and Employment Vendors also provide helpful information to students and families on how and when it is best to apply for services.
